It took place in the spring of 1994. A young American named Ronald Opus decided to take his own life. In his suicide note, he wrote that he, Ronald, had taken this step because of financial difficulties and lack of understanding from his parents (their unwillingness to help him financially). After writing this message, Mr Opus climbed onto a window sill and threw himself down from the ninth floor.

Perhaps he would have abandoned the idea if he had known that the window cleaners who were working that day had put a safety net on the seventh floor level. So, after flying two floors, Opus would have collapsed onto the springy net with his trousers wet, but alive. But then a fantastic event intervened.

As Ronald flew(!) past the eighth floor, a shotgun blast from a window hit his head. As the police were identifying the deceased with his head almost completely blown off by the shot, the detectives decided that the shooter should be charged with manslaughter. After all, if not for the gunshot, Ronald Opus would still be alive, having fallen to the net.

Further investigations uncovered new facts. It turned out that the old man on the 8th floor had shot at his wife, but had missed and the charge had gone through the window. So the charge had to be corrected - attempted murder (of his wife) had to be added to manslaughter. In moments of anger and quarrels with his wife, the old man would always grab an unloaded shotgun from the wall and frighten his wife with the flick of the trigger. It was sort of a family ritual. According to both spouses, the shotgun always hung on the wall and was never loaded by anyone.

So, according to American law, the charge of involuntary manslaughter now lay with whoever secretly loaded the shotgun. Who? After discovering that only their son was free to enter the bullied couple's room, the police detectives contacted his friend and found out many interesting things.

Knowing that his father often threatened his mother with a gun hanging on the wall, the son secretly loaded it, hoping that at the first scandal he would shoot his mother and go to jail. However, for the past few weeks the couple had been living surprisingly peacefully, upsetting the unsuccessful vigilante.

Where is he, the bastard? - Where is he? - Surprised the old man. - My son lives upstairs...

Yes, the son he was looking for was himself... Ronald Opus! It was he who loaded the shotgun, and when revenge failed, threw himself out the window in despair. And was shot and killed with the charge he used to load the shotgun himself. By his own father.

Although the whole story sounds like fiction, it is a documented fact. Don't mess around with karma. This concept is present in one form or another in all religious and philosophical movements. As far back as antiquity, they knew that he who came by the sword would die by the sword.
